Godly wisdom says trials will mature you

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Wisdom vs Wisdom 1 Corinthians 1:26-31, 3:19

God will turn around and use the foolish things

Worldly wisdom says trials will crush you. Godly wisdom says trials will mature you. Worldly wisdom says temptation is no big deal. Godly wisdom says temptation indulged leads to death. Worldly wisdom says, “Seeing is believing.” Godly wisdom says, “Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed”

Godly wisdom is from God and honors God it starts with the reverential fear of God and results in a holy life.

  • Proverbs 9:10- “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.”

Worldly wisdom is not concerned with honoring God but with pleasing oneself. With worldly wisdom, we may become educated, street-smart, and have “common sense” that enables us to play the world’s game successfully.

Godly wisdom enables us to prepare ourselves for eternity. With godly wisdom, we trade earthly values or strategies for biblical values and strategies.

  • Luke 23:46- when Jesus had cried out with a loud voice, He said, “Father, ‘into Your hands I commit My spirit”…….

Before Jesus transitioned, moved, or shifted to the next stage of his purpose, he gave us Godly wisdom or a strategy that if we use it in any area of our lives, we will see success.

No matter what area it may be “Commit it to the Fathers hands”

  • Proverbs 16:3– Amplified Bible, Classic Edition- Roll your works upon the Lord [commit and trust them wholly to Him; He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and] so shall your plans be established and succeed.

Godly wisdom provides a comprehensive insight into the ways and purposes of God.

  • Deuteronomy 6:23, 1 Peter 2:9 He brought us out, to take us in.

(Father Brought us out, to bring us into the Son, so we can receive the Holy Spirit)

Godly wisdom offers us the type of wisdom and guidance that no amount of human reasoning can.

  • 2 Kings 4:1-7- two sons’{friends}, pay your debt, and live off the rest.

Godly wisdom will lead us into the places that will prepare us for our destination.

  • Matthew 4:1,11- after we are led into these places, God will send someone to minister to us, to refresh us, and reaffirm our destination.
  • John 14:2- Jesus said “I go to prepare a place for you”
  • God will always provide preparation for the destination

If you have never accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior you only have access to worldly wisdom only those who are in Christ Jesus have access to Godly wisdom. (Ephesians 2:18) Through Him we both have ACCESS

“I’m a young man, and you are all old and experienced. That’s why I kept quiet and held back from joining the discussion. I kept thinking, ‘Experience will tell. The longer you live, the wiser you become.’ But I see I was wrong—it’s God’s Spirit in a person, the breath of the Almighty One, that makes wise human insight possible. The experts have no corner on wisdom; getting old doesn’t guarantee good sense.
